About Me:

My name is Shekiba Abrahimi. I am a graduate of York university. I studied Bachelors of Business And society and specialized in Law and governance.

I started my professional career at TD Financial group in Professional Lending and Advice department. There, I helped clients with mortgage renewals, Home Equity line of credit, personal loans and credit cards.
During my time in this department. I enrolled into getting my Canadian securities license called IFIC to specialize in selling Mutual funds and other investments.
After working 2 years in the lending department and successfully passing my IFIC exam in IFSE.ca, I applied for another role in TD as a Mutual Funds Representative.
I successfully made it into the department and currently I am handling TD clients that want to invest in Mutual Funds and other investments like GIC’s, And registered accounts like RSP, TFSA, RESP, and RIF accounts.
One piece of advice I can give others is to first get into the company in entry level and work your way up by utilizing your skills and gaining new skills. We all start slow but eventually through time and experience, we will make it to our initial goal.
Best of luck.
