About Me:

Haroon is part of the new wave of well educated professionals who are working at the leading edge of technology yet are socially aware and make a positive impact on society at large. Currently Haroon partners with one of Canada’s leading telecom companies as a Technology Analyst, hardware prime and customer service champion, where he leads, coordinates, trains new hires, and assist team members with their technical issues.

 

Before taking the role of a technology analyst, Haroon has worked as a Business Client Analyst and manager for various Canadian companies and has been recognized by his peers and employers alike.

 

As a proud Canadian-Afghan and a father to two beautiful children, Haroon understands the value of giving back to society and works tirelessly with his family by frequently volunteering their time and resources to multiple worthy causes. Working as an ‘Ambassador & Activity Lead’ at the TELUS Day of Giving, Haroon engaged community members and worked collaboratively with them. Haroon supports multiple charitable organizations by raising funds for families in dire need of financial support. He also continues to work with Afghan Diaspora in Europe, South/Central Asia, and North America, promoting peace, raising awareness on domestic major issues and charting a way towards a better future for all.

 

Haroon is currently studying ‘cyber security” at Seneca College

 

In his leisure moments, Haroon enjoys swimming, reading, and socializing with youth and people from all walks of life using different social media platforms. Haroon’s great passion is about community service and helping others in need and has an interest in international affairs. Haroon is also aboard member of  Afghan Community Consultancy (ACC)
